Teaching

Peripatetic Guitar Teacher

We are seeking an experienced Guitar Teacher with the ability to teach up to Grade 5 across both Acoustic and Electric Guitar, using a mixture of TAB and sheet music. You will need to work flexibly around other peripatetic staff and the school timetable. The successful candidate will be required to teach musical instruments in groups or individually, and support ensembles as directed by the Director of Performing Arts. Encourage pupils to gain knowledge and skills through learning in lessons and through the experience of group music making, fostering self-discipline and social skills necessary for music making. This role is key to enriching the education of each pupil through the provision of appropriate musical experience and to provide skills that will serve the pupils for their future, and to ensure the lifelong love and enjoyment of a wide variety of musical genres.

Receptionist & Administrative Assistant

The Receptionist is the first point of call for visitors to the school, parents, staff and children.  As the ‘face’ of the school the Receptionist should be welcoming, personable, helpful and able to represent the school in a professional and friendly manner.  In addition, it is essential that the person for this role is organised, able to multi-task, work flexibly and have a ‘can do’ approach to work, as no two days are the same.  This role will require assisting the Office Manager with various administrative tasks.
